We’re looking for a graphic design intern to join our in-house creative team for a full-time three-month placement.
You’ll be part of the product marketing team, helping the visual designer with creative briefs and assisting the content manager execute our day-to-day editorial strategy.
There’s an opportunity for the position to be extended for a further three months.
You will be a well-rounded designer that can help with creative copywriting tasks as well when needed. You’ll have recently graduated with graphic design degree, or have at least 2 years’ experience.
You’ll be working on design for campaigns, content and branding across our blog and digital channels. You’ll also do a bit of print and presentation work. Basically, a bit of everything. This is a great chance to explore and develop your creativity across multiple channels, from concept to execution.
Exceptional language skills, both verbal and written
You’ll need to know InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator inside out
Knowledge of using/designing for PowerPoint and Word
Knowledge in CMS and/or WordPress basics
Knowledge of Premiere Pro, Final Cut or similar (preferable but not essential)
Knowledge of After Effects
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
Knowledge of print production processes would be nice
REAL MONEY: we don’t think unpaid internships are very fair. So we’ll cover expenses plus a little extra to, you know, live.
BEERS: on Fridays; soft drinks, fruit and snacks the rest of the week.
OPPORTUNITY: We’re a small-ish team in a big-ish company, so you’ll actually see the impact you’re having on the business. Also, we’re not the types to be looking over your shoulder and meddling with your work.
A PORTFOLIO: at the end of your internship, we’ll help you package up all your best work and send you off into the world with an awesome new portfolio.
