The Careers & Enterprise Company exists to prepare and inspire young people for the fast-changing world of work by creating career opportunities and connections to potential employers. To do this, we have established a national network to connect schools and colleges, employers and career programme providers. We are working on the ground with these schools and colleges to help create high-impact careers opportunities for young people.
However, to help maximise our impact, we need to ensure we are communicating effectively and creatively with our key audiences. We are therefore looking for a tenacious and proactive mid weight designer to drive our visual identity and art direction across multiple channels: collaborating with marketing/communications/digital / photographers/animator/printers to ultimately promote The Careers & Enterprise Company’s ‘story’.
Working into the Director of Marketing and Communications, this role involves leading projects from a design and art direction perspective from concept through to execution. Projects primarily include the development of collateral for events, social, webinars, website and newsletters but could extend out to the further development of the brand identity.
The successful candidate will have an exceptionally strong eye for layout and be a flexible stylist, able to quickly and confidently turn their hand to different approaches depending on the brief. Whether or not they have worked in a social enterprise before, they will be able to make work relevant and impactful for The Careers & Enterprise Company and its’ audiences.
